Open since February 2019, Avoca Ballsbridge is a haven for foodies, with a fully stocked artisanal food market, patisserie, deli counter, coffee station and of course the wonderful Fodder Restaurant. There is also a small, curated retail offering, a large selection of fine wines and a beautiful outdoor terrace at the back to sit and watch the world go by.
Taking good food back to basics, Fodder Restaurant at Avoca Ballsbridge is centred around deliciously simple, quality fare cooked to perfection. In keeping with Avoca’s well-established dedication to and passion for Irish provenance, the menu is focused on seasonal and local ingredients, hand-prepared with care and attention by our team of talented chefs. Serving breakfast and lunch Monday – Friday and brunch at the weekend, there’s something for every occasion. Fodder serves as the perfect spot for morning business meetings, brunch, lunch dates, and wine with friends.
The Food Market is a first-class experience with an extensive offering, boasting a neighbourhood deli counter, Poulet Bonne Femme concession counter, coffee bar and ‘Hello and Go’ section. The butcher offer showcases the finest meats from the country’s best artisan, organic and free-range meat producers. There is a cheese and charcuterie counter, a Parisian-style patisserie filled with freshly baked cakes, and a carefully chosen selection of fine wines.
We also have an events space for hire which comfortably accommodates up to 100 people; 70 inside and 30 on a heated terrace. Perfect for small events and parties!
