Medium ruby-garnet in colour with a classic garnet rim, it opens with inviting aromas of ripe forest fruits, dark cherry and liqueur chocolate, lifted by a touch of woodsmoke. The palate is dry and medium-bodied, with vibrant acidity, rounded tannins and a subtle grain from gentle oak ageing. A beautifully crafted Sangiovese from the heart of Chianti Classico, perfect with rustic Italian fare or enjoyed on its own.
